In order to improve the security and interoperability of telecommunication equipment and to avoid interference, the minister of communication and information technology of Indonesia developed a regulation with the specific technical requirements for telecommunications devices based on LTE technology (base station and subscriber station). All the devices made, assembled or imported in Indonesia are under this regulation. The technical requirements for LTE base stations are specified in Annex 1 of the regulation, and for subscriber stations it is in the Annex 2.
