On February 3, 2017, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) recently announced it plans to simplify the certification process for Certifications of Telecommunication equipment for cellular phones, laptops, and tablets. This type of technology tends to be very fast and dynamic, therefore, MCIT felt it necessary to provide a public service acceleration for these type of products. One way they plan to speed the certification of equipment or/and telecommunication devices is to implement a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) in the evaluation process.
