On March 22nd, MTCTE published five products that are temporarily exempted from the scope.
These are the products exempted:
-Mobile User Equipment/Mobile Handset (Mobile Phone).
-Server.
-SmartWatch.
-Smart Camara.
-PoS Machine (Point of Sale Devices).
The SmartWatch, Smart Camara, and PoS Machine notified under the Phase III and IV of the notification 5-2/2021-TC/TEC/112 dated 01/31/2022 are temporarily excluded from the list of products notified in the above said notification.
