On October 1st, 2020. Meity has released Phase V of BIS’ CRS, the new set of products are as follow:

The applicable Indian Standards for most of the telecom devices are IS 13252:2010 (based on IEC 60950) and IS 616:2017 (based on IEC 60065); these are not new, so the laboratories already have implemented them and those are included in their approved scope.
Keep in mind that the date of entry into force is six (6) months from the date of its publication, so it will be mandatory from April 1st, 2021. There is no current indication of extension of date due to COVID-19.
