We recently shared a reminder about the date to entry into force for Phase V of CRO at BIS; we now come with an update as the date has been moved to October 1st, 2021, as Meity published on March 12th, 2021.
This change of date comes after the requests from the industry to have a smoother implementation of the order.
The devices included in the upcoming phase (V) are:

• Induction Stove
• Automatic Teller Cash dispensing machines
• USB Type External Hard Disk Drive
• Wireless Headphone and Earphone
• USB Type External Solid-State Storage Devices (above 256 GB capacity)
• Electronic Musical System with input power below 200 Watts
• Standalone Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) with output voltage 48V (max)
• Television other than Plasma/ LCD/LED TVs
• Rice Cooker
• Wireless Microphone
• Digital Camera
• Video Camera
• Webcam (Finished Product)
• Smart Speakers (with and without Display)
• Dimmers for LED products
• Bluetooth Speakers
