Department of Telecommunication has released a list of products categorized under two phases (Phase III; Phase IV). Phase III holds 10 products and Phase IV holds 36 Products. Phase III Products: MTCTE will start accepting the application for the products under 3 rd phase from Oct 11th, 2021, and certification for these products will be mandatory from 01 st July 2022. Phase IV products: MTCTE starts accepting the application for EMI/EMC & Safety reports for Phase IV products from Oct 11th, 2021, and it will be mandatory for a Telecom product to have EMI/EMC; safety certificate from 1st Feb 2022. The Application for the remaining Essential Requirements (ER) for phase IV will be accepted from 1 st Jan 2022 and it will be mandatory from 1 st July 2022. The date of acceptance of Test reports accredited by ILAC Signatories for Phase I & Phase II Products stands extended till 30th Nov 2021 and for Phase III Products till 30th of June 2022.
