INDIA: MTCE Publishes Revision for Procedures, Test Reports from ILAC Accredited Labs Accepted Until March 2020

MTCE of India published on May 7, 2019, a revision of procedure for the following 3 points with the goal of driving leniency towards the MTCTE procedure.

1. Submission of test reports for some parameters shall be exempted. In such cases, provisional certificates will be issued.
2. The validity of the provisional certificates granted will be for a period of 2 years.
3. The requirements of labeling on certificate products shall be exempted for the initial period of six months effective from October 1^st of 2019,

   Additionally, to further streamline the MTCTE procedure, test report from ILAC signatories accredited laboratories to be accepted up until March 31^st of 2020.
