MTCE of India published on April 7, 2019, notification that the Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunications Equipment (MTCTE) of the following equipment will be effective from October 1st of 2019.
- Telecom Equipment covered under SCS
- Telecom Equipment covered under GCS
Schedule for mandatory testing and certification for the remaining equipment will be notified later on.
Other important dates delivered were:
-Opening of MTCTE portal 07/05/2019
-Commencement of acceptance of applications 07/09/2019
-Date of mandatory implementation for certification 10/01/2019
