The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong has released the following 5 new Type Acceptance Criteria:
TAC007 –5G New Radio (NR) base station (BS) equipment operating in frequency bands below 6 GHz band of BS type 1-C and BS type 1-H1.
TAC008 – 5G New Radio User Equipment Operating below 6GHz Band.
TAC009 – 5G New Radio User Equipment for Interworking Operation with other radios.
TAC010 – 5G NR, E-UTRA, UTRA AND GSM/EDGE multi-standard radios (MSR) Base Station Equipment Operating below 6GHz.
TAC011 – Hybrid Active Antenna System (AAS) base station equipment supporting single RAT UTRA, single RATE-UTRA, and Multi-Standard Radio (UTRA, E-UTRA, 5G NR) and operating in frequency bands below 6 GHz
The Type Acceptance Criteria are official documents that set the evaluated parameters for different equipment categories and can be used by the CBS and interested parties to understand the corresponding requirements.
