The Commission of the European Union (EU) updated the standards list for Electrical Safety Directive. The updated standard list can be used to demonstrate compliance with Low Voltage Directive (LVD). This impacts electrical equipment designed for use within a certain voltage limit (devices for use within 50 – 1000V alternating current; 75 – 1500V direct current).
