On June 15, 2018, the European Union published a notice in its latest Official Journal, 2018/C 209 37, in order to announce the postponement for EN 62368-1:2014, which was originally set to come into effect on June 20, 2019, and now scheduled for December 20, 2020.
It is an important highlight that the new standard has the same scope as the EN 60065 and EN 60950-1, but as of December 20, 2020, these standards will be replaced wholly by the standard EN 62368-1.
