Within the framework of the Government’s keenness to enhance the quality of services provided to citizens and guarantee citizens’ rights to access high-level telecom and internet services, H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, has inaugurated today the NTRA’s National Center for ICT Services Quality Control and Monitoring at NTRA’s headquarters, in Smart Village. The inauguration has been attended by Eng. Mostafa Abdel Wahid, NTRA’s Acting Executive President, and the CEOs of the telecom operators and companies operating in Egypt.

The main objective of establishing the National Center for ICT Services Quality Control and Monitoring is to periodically measure the quality of voice and Internet services provided by service providers and telecom companies operating in Egypt. Furthermore, it aims to achieve and ensure transparency, as monthly reports will be published on the NTRA’s website to inform citizens of the quality of ICT services provided, hence helps them choose the most distinguished networks to deal with.
