Entirety reports on February 15, 2019, MEIC (Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce) approved the Costa Rican Technical Regulation RTCR No. 497:2018 for Panel Boards and thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, general-use switches, sockets, plugs and cord connectors for use up to 1000 V. The purpose of this technical regulation is to protect from hazards the electrical installations in residential, commercial and hospital structures and protection of human life.
Final comments can be submitted by March 29th, 2019.
