In accordance to the article 9 of decree 2696 of 2004, the CRC publishes the request for comments for the regulatory proposal, that modifies the applicable technical rules under which the terminal devices (Fixed and wireless phones, satellite and mobile terminals) will be evaluated. This will take effect six months after it is officially published by the CRC.
It will also modify the information about the model, brand and bands that will be available to the customers and the restrictions for the cellular operators to enable terminal devices. This will take effect three months after it is officially published by the CRC.
The reception of comments will be available until October 31st through the email normashomologacion@crcom.gov.co, by fax or physically in the CRC headquartes.
