On April 5, 2018, the Agencia Nacional del Espectro (ANE) of Colombia, published a public consultation on spectrum requirements for free use. Since resolution 711 of 2016 regarding spectrum of free use was published, there have been new inquiries and needs regarding this subject due to the great advancement of technology as well as the new and different technical conditions for communication systems. Therefore, ANE decided to include those new needs in the regulations in order to contribute to favor the deployment of technology in the country, and also to meet all the new requirements brought by technological advancements.
