COLOMBIA: Homologation Process is Now More Accessible for Mobile Terminal Equipment

Back

On September 26, 2016, the Colombian Information Technologies and Communications Ministry published resolution # 1678 of 2016 which cancels resolution 059 of 2003. This change means that the ministry annuls the fee charging for mobile terminal equipment certification. The process remains the same, this includes the documentation needed as well. A natural or legal Colombian resident has to still submit the application. The good news is that ENTIRETY is offering lower price for mobile terminal equipment homologation.
