COLOMBIA: CRC Eliminates Homologation Process for Fixed and Satellite Devices

Entirety reports on February 11, 2019, the CRC of Colombia (Communication Regulation Commission) published a notice regarding the considerable decrease of homologation requests for fixed and satellite devices, and thus, decided to eliminate this procedure but maintain technical regulations. The CRC eliminated 203 regulations in the CRC Resolution No. 5050/2016. It is worth mentioning that fixed terminals are phone tables (wired) and wall (wireless) and other hand satellite devices are those with industrial or security use that allows communicating from any part of the world with a satellite link.
