On October 11, 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MIIT) released a Type Approval guide for the Radio Transmitting Equipment Certificate.
Starting October 15, 2018, according to this announcement, the following is recommended:
1. Examining before approving
2. SRRC testing fee is free. (to ensure the sample can pass the test, we suggests doing the pre-test.)
To obtain the type-approval of radio transmission equipment, the following conditions shall be met:
(1) The applicant has the corresponding production capacity, technical strength, and quality assurance system;
(2) The technical indicators such as the working frequency and power of the radio transmitting equipment comply with the national standards and the relevant provisions of the national radio management.
3. The application form must be provided in Chinese.
4. Applicants should have independent legal personality.
5. The ID code must be marked on the device.
