On Dec. 6th, 2021, MIIT issued a regulation called “Interim Provisions on the radio administration of automotive radar”, the allowed band for automotive radar is 76-79GHz, when producing/importing this device in China, it needs to get SRRC approval. The purpose of this regulation is to avoid radio interference risks and is aimed at automotive radar and vehicle manufacturers and users.
The implementation date of this regulation is March 1, 2022
