On June 26, 2018, the Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) and State Administration for Market Regulation published an announcement adjusting the CCC catalog of compulsory product certification list and its implementation from June 11, 2018.
Key highlights are as follow:
1. Regulated items no longer need CCC certificates from now on. (Refer to Annex 1) Certified products without listing have had their certificate canceled. (For items listed on Annex 1, they do not require CCC certificate anymore).
2. Added a new method for specific products – Declaration of Conformity / Declaration of Compliance (DoC) from October 1, 2018. (Refer to Annex 2&3).
Primarly, Information technology equipment, audio, and video equipment: For the nominal rated voltage ≤ 5VDC, nominal rated power.
Effective dates: June 11, 2018, and October 1, 2018 (DoC)
