CHILE: SUBTEL updates Exenta 1985 (technical standard for short range devices)

On July 27th, 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, Sub-secretary of Telecommunications (SUBTEL) published Exenta Resolution 1321 in which the frequency band with its corresponding maximum electric field strength was added to item H related to equipment used for medical applications:

In addition, the limit for PSD was changed from 17 mW/MH To 17 dBm/MHz, in the article J.1, which is the relevant reference for Digital Modulation and Spread Spectrum equipment

These changes were made as the Sub-secretary is seeking to assimilate the equipment to the international market.
