On Monday, July 24, 2017, SEC (Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles) of Chile released a public consultation exempting a resolution in order to fix the scope on the procedure for the the application Certification System version 2. “Type test and evaluation of the quality control of the factory and its acceptance, which takes into account the quality control audit of the factory and factory tests and market samples.” The aim is to create a standard that permanently verifies that the factory production complies with the type originally certified, as established in current regulations. It will require to have supervision by a certification body who is authorized by SEC.
