URUGUAY: URSEC – New 5GHz Band Restriction
The 5.4 to 5.7 GHz bands won’t be allowed in Uruguay anymore. URSEC, the Telecom Regulator, has decided that the 5.4-5.7 GHz bands, will no longer be included in the homologation certificates. The already issued certificates will not suffer any inconveniences, they can remain without changes.
