INDIA: BIS Published its Standard Mark Guidelines
According to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the users of its Compulsory Registration Scheme have been asking for a Standard Mark and for the simplification of labelling requirements. Therefore, BIS created a Standard Mark which has been available since December 2015, and its specifications are in the attached PDF’s on our website blog.
INDIA: DEITY Extended The Date Of Applicability Of The BIS Registration For Some IT Products
The Department of Electronic and Information Technology of India (DEITY), has extended, again, the date of applicability of the BIS accomplishment, for some electronics and IT products (see the attached list). The deadline has been moved from August 13th to December 1st 2015, due to some stakeholders requirements.
