CARIBBEAN: Regional Spectrum Management Plan Amendment

Back

ECTEL revised the Regional Spectrum Management Plan in August 2022. The new amendments incorporate recommendations from the World Radiocommunications Conference (WRC-2012, WRC-2015, and WRC-2019) such as allocating more spectrum toward public protection and Disaster relief. This is with the ECTELs mandate to meet the demands of existing and emerging technologies and services, whilst ensuring the radio frequency spectrum provides the greatest economic and social benefit to ECTEL Member states.
