CANADA: ISED Publishes Public Consultation for Certifications for Radio Apparatus and Broadcasting Equipment

On March 21^st, 2019 the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) published the consultation RSP-100, Issue 12, found here.  and the comments will be submitted and found on Radio Advisory Board of Canada’s webpage.
The consultation has 10 points that include but not limited to:

• General Requirements for Compliance of Radio Apparatus
• Exception for modular certification
• Modification for the Product Marketing Name
• Certification requirement for wearable products
• Replace the UPN and Company Number with ISED certification number
• Requirements for antenna gain values in modular approval
• Update the definition section
• Modification of permissive change for Non-RF Class I

The final comments will be received until May 24^th, 2019.
