On March 21st, 2019 the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) published the consultation RSP-100, Issue 12, found here. and the comments will be submitted and found on Radio Advisory Board of Canada’s webpage.
The consultation has 10 points that include but not limited to:
- General Requirements for Compliance of Radio Apparatus
- Exception for modular certification
- Modification for the Product Marketing Name
- Certification requirement for wearable products
- Replace the UPN and Company Number with ISED certification number
- Requirements for antenna gain values in modular approval
- Update the definition section
- Modification of permissive change for Non-RF Class I
The final comments will be received until May 24th, 2019.
