At the end of January 2016, Industry Canada (IC) published on its website an update of the Standard RSS-216 Issue 1, Wireless Power Transfer Devices (Wireless Chargers), published in September 2014; the new standard is the RSS-216 Issue 2, Wireless Power Transfer Devices. After its publication, and until the last day of June 2016, compliance with RSS-216 Issue 1 or Issue 2 will be accepted, and after that time only compliance with Issue 2 could be presented.
