Industry Canada (IC) published on the department website on January 19, 2016, the document of the Interference-Causing Equipment Standard ICES-003 Issue 6; and the Radio Standards Specifications RSS-117 Issue 3. The ICES-003 Issue 6, sets out standard requirements for ITE, including digital apparatus, and the principal changes from Issue 5 are: updates in the 2.1, 2.3, 2.4 and 3 (b) sections. The RSS-117 Issue 3, Licensed Transmitters Operating in the band 200 – 535 KHz, sets out the technical requirements for the compliance of radio apparatus operating in the 200 – 535 KHz frequency band.
