The Industry Canada (IC) published on January 21st the documents of the Radio Standards Procedure RSP-100 Issue 11, Certification Radio Apparatus; and the DC-01 Issue 6, Procedure for Declaration of Conformity and Registration of Terminal Equipment. The RSP-100 sets out requirements for the certification of radio apparatus and broadcasting equipment. The issue 6 of the DC-01 contains the procedure that all the telecommunications terminal equipment suppliers must follow in order to declare conformity with technical specifications and to register equipment with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. Both procedures have been changed from their previous issues due to the implementation of the online Spectrum Application Modernization – Commercial Software Implementation (SAM – CSI) tool.
