The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) divulged an agenda for the introduction of 4G LTE spectrum. It could be available in October. They are evaluating spectrum in the 450 MHz, 700 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100MHz and 2500 MHz. However, the interest is in the 700 MHz band because it has been used in the U.S and the Caribbean. Stakeholders can send comments until July 28. In the middle of August the TRC could publish a draft of the frequency authorizations. Applications would be received until September, and licenses given in October.
