BRAZIL: Resolution 242 Proposes Modifications for Renewals of Category III Devices

Brazil regulator, ANATEL, released Public Consultation Number 33, the goal of which is to review the main regulation (Resolution 242), the certification rules adopted in Brazil since year 2000. Resolution 242 will be replaced during 2018.

One of the main modifications being proposed by ANATEL is that renewals will be required for category III devices (previously this type of device would get permanent certificates). You can see this in Art 53.
