BRAZIL: New Requirements for Anatel Category I products

For the IPv6 protocol

–  Function of terminal with air interface designed for Mobile Services.

Regulation: 3GPP TS 36.523-1 Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA) and Evolved Packet Core (EPC); User Equipment (UE) conformance specification; Part 1: Protocol conformance specification.

Requirements: All tests involving performance evaluation of to the IPv6 protocol. The Anatel requirement does not define a version of  the standard  and does not clearly define the requirements so that they can be constantly updated by 3GPP, without the need of changing requirements.

Observation: The requirements will be mandatory from June  1st 2015.

Function terminal with interface to the Services Conditional Access DOCSIS and routing function.

Regulation: CM-SP-eRouter-I10 – Data-Over-Cable Service Interface Specifications. IPv4, IPv6  and Router Specification.

Requirements: All tests are applicable

Observation: The requirements will be compulsory from  January 1st 2015.
