ANATEL published the Technical Requirements for Wi-Fi 6e through the Ato no. 1306 for equipment that operates in the frequency range 5.925 -7.125 MHz. For indoor use, the agency did not establish limits for the channel bandwidth and regarding the low power equipment will be allowed access point/subordinate the access point, indoor access point client equipment; and very low power equipment. But its prohibited access points/subordinate access points, battery power, weather protection, and the use of non-integrated- antennas into their structures are prohibited. These restrictions seek to ensure the use of the equipment only inside buildings, to avoid interference with services in primary character. Also according to the approved proposal, equipment with very low power is not restricted to indoor use, due to the very low power established in the technical requirements. At the proposed limits, this equipment can coexist with other services in the 6 GHz band, with battery power allowed.
