On July 21, 2016, the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) published on its website the public consultation # 18 “Review of the regulation about canalization and conditions of use of the 148 MHz – 174MHz radio frequencies band”. The regulation establishes the canalization and the conditions for the 148 MHz – 174MHz band use. This includes: analogical or digital systems of fixed and mobile services, according to the radio communications regulations of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
