The Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL), published on June 13th, 2016 the public consultation # 13 asking, to all the interested parties, for comments on the proposal to use the 18,1 GHz – 18,6 GHz and 27,9 GHz – 28,4 GHz frequency bands for satellite networks for the fixed satellite service (SFS). The new regulation will replace the Norm # 009/93, and will be included in the Attribution, Destination and Distribution of the frequency bands in Brazil (PDFF). Comments will be received by ANATEL until July 13th 2016.
