Entirety reports on December 12, 2018, ANATEL’s proposed public consultation from December 4th regarding the new technical requirements of conformity for terminals and base station radios using NB-IoT Technology.
The interested parties have a dead line of December 23rd to send their comments.
Anatel will gather and will analyze all the suggestions in order to publish a final version. Once it is published, it would be possible to homologate devices using NB-IoT in Brazil.
It is needed to create technical requirements for the NB-IoT technology, in the following items:
- Terminal Access Station – NB-IoT LTE Cat. M1 – ETSI TS 136 521-1 V14.4.0 (2017-11)
- Terminal Access Station – NB-IoT Cat. NB1 – ETSI TS 136 521-1 V14.4.0 (2017-11)
- NB-Iot Base station transmitter – ETSI TS 136 141 V15.3.0 (2018-07)
