BRAZIL: ANATEL Postpones RF and EMC Testing Requirement for Transceivers and Restricted Radiation Devices

On June 21, 2018, the National Telecommunications Agency from Brazil (ANATEL) released act N. 4735 that postpones for 60 more days the requirements to apply Radio Frequency (RF) and Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests for restricted radiations devices and transceivers with Spectral Scattering approved by the act N. 14448 (Annex 1) on December 04, 2017. During this timeperiod, it will still be possible to submit projects without these tests. However, starting September 1, 2018, these new requirements will come into force.
