BRAZIL: ANATEL Opens Frequency Bands as Non-Restrictive: 5.925 to 7.125 GHz, 57-71 GHz (802.11ad), 76-81 GH

Today, May 6 of 2020, The National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) published in its Official Federal Gazette,  the new Universalization Obligations Regulation (ROU) – opening the following frequency bands as non- restrictive: 5.925 to 7.125 GHz. 57-71 GHz (802.11ad), 76-81 GH for vehicle radar applications. The main objective of the Regulation is to establish the new rules instituted by the Executive Branch.
