On June 29th, 2022, ANATEL approved technical requirements and conditions for use of the 3.7 – 3.8 GHz band through Act No. 8991/2022. Authorization for the secondary use of the spectrum will be considered for Terrestrial System Stations, namely:
- 5G Private Networks which operate at low power and operational limits.
- Engineering technicians who promote appropriate conditions of usage.
5G Private Networks are considered as Restricted Interest Telecommunications Service, intended for use by a performer’s personal use or certain groups of users selected by the service provider.
