BELARUS: Changes in The Conformity Assessment for Equipment in Circulation

On May 5th, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus published the decree  N 270, which establishes new rules for equipment in circulation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus:

carried out by the conformity assessment body that issued (registered) these documents on the basis of the

application.

out an on-site assessment of the accredited body’s activities by analyzing (examining) documents within no more than

two days from the date of registration of the accredited body’s application.

the territory of the Republic of Belarus without submission to the customs authorities of documents on conformity

assessment of mandatory requirements (information on such documents) in respect of products that are

spare parts* imported for maintenance and/or repair of finished goods previously put into circulation on the territory

of the Republic of Belarus;

conformity in the form of certification or declaration of conformity on the basis of evidentiary materials obtained with

participation of accredited testing laboratory (center), conformity assessment in the form of declaration of conformity on

the basis of own evidentiary materials of legal entity or individual entrepreneur – residents of the Republic of Belarus shall

be allowed.
