18 months have passed since ARPANSA (The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency) issued a directive to ANSTO (the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) to initiate an independent review of its approach to occupational radiation safety at its nuclear medicine facility.
Last December 4th, the CEO of ARPANSA Dr Adi Paterson announced his satisfaction that the Implementation Plan meets the terms of the direction issued to ANSTO in June 2018.
