On October 21, 2016, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) released a spectrum auction in the 700MHz band. The 30MHz lot that will be auctioned in the second quarter of 2017 is an unsold portion of the 2013 ACMA 700MHz auction called the “original dividend.”
ACMA invites all interested parties to sent comments on the following topics:
- The draft allocation and technical instruments.
- The proposals associated with early access arrangements.
- Any other issue raised in the consultation paper.
The deadline to comment on the auction proposal is November 17, 2016.
