AUSTRALIA: ACMA Seeks Comments for Next Stage of 803-960 MHz Band

On June 7, 2018, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) published a public consultation in order to seek comments from interested stakeholders on proposed changes to RALI FX 11, RALI MS 40 and RALI MS 41, to support the next stage of the implementation of the 803–960 MHz band review.

Interested parties are invited to make a submission by Thursday, July 5, 2018.


The proposed changes will:

-Change the allocation for sound outside broadcast links from primary to secondary in the frequency range 850.5–852 MHz.
-Update RALIs MS 40 and MS 41 to include all the incremental spectrum allocation changes through to the end of the implementation process on July 1, 2024.
