On January 3, 2017, the Argentinean Ministry of Production published on its official gazette Disposition 578 – E / 2016 in order to promote the validity of reciprocal recognition agreements with all functions inherent to certification between national and foreign entities. This empowers The National Internal Trade Directorate under the Secretariat of Interior Decade of the Secretariat of Commerce to approve the recognition agreements between certification bodies located in the country and certification bodies located abroad. The Argentine Institute for Standardization and Certification (IRAM) has requested validation for the mutual recognition of certificates only with the company TÜV SÜD PRODUCT SERVICE GMBH of the Federal Republic of Germany. The scope of the certification services stipulated between the parties is associated with the mark of conformity.
This agreement will be valid for 24 months, according to the publication.
