Early January, ENACOM updated its list of Accredited Laboratories to include an additional recognized and authorized Argentinian Lab to carry out testing and measurements of UE for Mobile Communication System (as per Q2-61.03 V17.1 Standard). The lab is capable of testing all types of cellular technologies from 2G, 3G, and 4G for homologation purposes. With this new listing and considering that the facilities to test these interfaces are fully operational, there is no reason for ENACOM to continue accepting any foreign test reports as of next March 1st. The only foreign test reports that will continue being accepted are the mandatory SAR test since there is no local lab capable of performing it yet.
To summarize, starting from March 1st, the 2G, 3G, and 4G interfaces (for cellular phones, modules, devices, etc) must be totally tested by the accredited Argentinian Labs. According to the current testing standard, all these tests will be performed in CONDUCTED mode (not RADIATED).
