ARGENTINA: Lab Testing Required for All Cellular Interface Devices Starting July 2018

On December 16, 2017 the National Entity of Communications in Argentina (ENACOM) published Resolution 5762/2017, by which all cellular interface (cell-phones, notebooks, netbooks, tracking devices and any other device capable to communicate by using cellular networks, even OEM modules) must be tested in an Argentine laboratory starting on July 1, 2018. This automatically will put end to local testing exemptions when the interface possess FCC certification.

The normative is copy of the ETSI regulations, therefore there should not be any issues to pass local tests if the devices have already passed them in origin.  This is a summary of each ETSI regulation and to which technology each one applies to:
