On October 25th, 2018, ENACOM updated regulations linked to Low Power Devices modifying “Dedicated Frequency Bands to be used by Low-Power Devices.” The technical standard ENACOM-Q2-60.14 V18.1 “Low-Power Devices” was approved and revoked Resolution ENACOM No. 6.639/2017.
Furthermore, the technical standard serves as a new local SRD standard. The main differences between version 17.1 are as follow:
- Frequency band 314-316 MHz (for TPM devices) was added.
- The spurious emission limit for the 433 MHz band has been increased from 200µV/m to 1830µV/m.
- The current standard is still in force until January 25th, 2019.
