ARGENTINA: ENACOM publishes updated versions of Test Standards for Frequency Hopping and Digital Modulation Systems

Back

On August 18th, 2023, the Argentinian National Entity for Communications (ENACOM) published in the Official Gazette Resolution 1132/2023 which updates the national test standards for Frequency Hopping and Digital Modulation Systems, titled as:

ENACOM-Q2-63.03 V23.1 “EQUIPOS INTEGRANTES DE SISTEMAS DE SALTO DE FRECUENCIA”

ENACOM-Q2-63.02 V23.1 “EQUIPOS INTEGRANTES DE SISTEMAS DE MODULACIÓN DIGITAL DE BANDA ANCHA”

These standards superseded the versions from 2020 PROTOCOLO DE ENSAYO PARA SISTEMAS DE SALTO DE FRECUENCIA V20.1 and PROTOCOLO DE ENSAYO PARA SISTEMAS DE MODULACIÓN DIGITAL DE BANDA ANCHA V20.2 respectively.

The publications are aligned with the recent decision from ENACOM to authorize the frequency range of 5925 – 7125 MHz for unlicensed use in the country.

The new versions of the standards also introduce an antenna requirement (to be reported by labs) and the test setup for radiated measurements.
