The Argentinian Telecom Regulator, ENACOM, revised the main Resolution No. 729/1980 publishing on November 27th a complementary Resolution (No. 5424/2019) which has changed two things with respect to the previous Resolution (No. 8967/2016). The new Resolution introduces the following changes about the applicants for the Telecom Approval process in Argentina: Designated/Authorized Local Manufacturer. This figure was introduced to allow local manufacturers to rely on unique approval done on behalf of a Local Representative company. Designated/Authorized Importers remains available, allowing local importers to rely on a unique approval done on behalf of a Local Representative company.
