ARGENTINA: Changes in LTE Devices Homologation Requirements to Come Soon

Back

The Argentinian National Communications Entity (ENACOM) is planning to modify the current requirements regarding the homologation of LTE devices in the country. At this moment, ENACOM accepts mobile phones with FDD-LTE functions operating only in the Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz); but is very likely that in the next days the entity will require that the devices also operate in the Band 28 (700/800 MHz) in order to obtain the homologation certificate. ENTIRETY will inform once the regulation becomes official.
